Finished Original song (First song done)

We have finished our one of our original songs which is good. We all contributed to the song which was good. The song sounds similar to that of Rage Against The Machine. It would have been better if we could have wrote material that is more original as I feel parts of our song are Rage like but it sounds good and a lot of the time that's good enough to please the audience. I feel that if we were given more time to write 3 songs then we could write some really good songs, I see that this is the whole point though, to write songs in the time were given. It's helping us to improve as musicians therefore it results in us learning.
