In our lesson with Nick we worked on our performance technique to help us improve our overall performances when we go on stage so that we'll be able to entertain and satisfy the audience who want to see good live music. I know now that it's not just about how well you perform the song but how you deliever the song, you can't just stand around on stage not moving otherwise it won't be a good performnace.
We performed 'Sweet Home Alabama' for the first time live which went very well. This song is a song that most music lovers know and that was one of the main reasons why we choice it because it's a crowd pleaser therefore most people are going to enjoy. It's also a fun song to play and I have a solo within the song which is good.
The last lesson we had where we had to work on our performance technique we didn't move around too much but for this we interacted with each other and the audience. This was a lot better and the audience, ED1B and the level 2 students, enjoyed the performance and said that it was a great performance. I also felt that it would be too awkward to move around on stage but oce we got into the song it was fine and I enjoyed the performance a lot.
