First lesson consisted of working on our recorded song Love Me Like You Do/Style and we had to sort out what tracks were going to be used for the final mix. We were then told that we would be doing a performance and we would have to perform original material to the audience. We came up with a song really quick but we covered I'd Rather Go Blind, the Beyonce version. On this day in rock, 3 great albums were released, 2 happen to be in my top ten favourtire albums. Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers released Damn The Torpedoes in 1979. Pearl Jam released Vs and Rush released Counterparts, both in 1993. Whilst Counterparts is a very strong Rush album which is very underrated to being a good 90s rock album, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and Pearl Jam both released brilliant albums which I have listened to countless amounts of time.
