Rock & Roll

Today I learnt about how rock and roll started in Rebecca's lesson which was very interesting. We watched part of a documentary, Rock and Roll Renegades, which talked about different artists like Little Richard, Elvis and Fats Domino. The documentary also mentioned people like Sam Phillips and William "Hoss" Allen who helped to drive the genre of Rock and Roll forward. That was in my second lesson, my first lesson was in the pod which consisted of playing our songs and a new song called Drown by Bring Me The Horizon which is really easy and very boring. Nick and Phil half way through our pod session came into the pod and told us that we'd have to learn and cover the song " It Must Be Love" performed by Madness. We listened to the song and it sounded very good. The song is a cover and the original is by Labi Siffre.
