Doing work in the pods usually consists of practising a song with your band which I enjoy because it means I get to play bass for an hour and 30 minutes. Me and my band, along with other bands, had to go watch the bands from my form perform one of their covers, it was interesting to see what they were covering. This also helped me to learn that it's important to relax when performing infront of people. I usually don't play to a high standard or my highest of abilities when I worry but by having other students from my form come into my pod it allowed me to develop my playing and have control of what I'm playing on the bass. I always feel very comfortable when playing bass in the pods and its very fun when you manage to do a good cover of a song. In some of the lunches I practised with some other people on the course which was great because being able to play with new different musicians is really good and it can help improve your playing by a lot. The more I practise in the pods the more I improve which is great because I always feel that my playing needs to be at a high standard.
